The artist I chose is a French photographer named Pierre-Louis Ferrer. His photos are token in Dordogne which is in the Southwestern France Area. Ferrer uses an infrared photography technique that allows I’m to make the landscaped turn yellow. Infrared light is one type of light that is invisible to us humans. He uses filters that makes the trees and bushes pop with yellow. Human eyes are not used to infrared light (due to its longer wavelengths). The reason I chose this piece of art is because my favorite color is yellow and this photograph revolves around the pop of yellow in the trees and bushes. This piece of art inspires me because it uses both a mix of science and art and I enjoy both of those too subjects. /pierre
