My mugs are very short and I tried to make the handle big enough to fit my hand in. I overcame my difficulty by just compromising and making a wide handle that my hand would be able to hold easily.
2. I find my idea for my piece very successful, I was able to achieve the design I had in mind. Another thing I found successful was my ability to throw multiple pieces, that I can experiment different designs on. I also found the size of my mugs very proportional to other mugs that I have used. 3. I would change the shape of my mug, if I was able to make it again. I would want my mug to be more straight and taller. I would have also wanted to make a bigger bowl that I could possibly eat out of. Hi, my name is Riley Novak and I am in 12th grade. I am excited to learn how to throw on the wheel again. I am also excited to make more sculptures out of different things. I am good at soccer and making new friends. I am also good at helping others and learning new things. An interesting fact about me is that I used to live in Alaska for 4 years. While I lived in Alaska I was able to connect with nature and I had the ability to learn how to take care of nature. Another interesting fact about me is that I have traveled to Greece and was able to experience their art and sculpture.
